Lets say that I write a good novel- my creative writing teacher tells me that I'm very talented at writing and coming up with story ideas (I'm in highschool), and I've loved writing since I was a little kid. But my sister told me that even if I wanted to publish fiction, that publishers always look into your background, and since I can't go to a 4 year college, my sister said that they won't accept my work, even if it is good. Is this true?
